Thanks for the info Stephan. I had very little time during the last 2-3 weeks, and even now I have to be off in 5 minutes.
I haven’t really got into the mindmapping yet and every other thing regarding this website.

I think all the discussions which happen on Facebook should be held here. Otherwise there is little reason to be here when the discussions happen there. And to dance on all parties is not very time conscious…

    See you

Trying to see the Living GCC Journey. The link brings me to “Diagram not found!”++++, not good if they ask you to log in and you don’t even now where!

I cannot answer directly to specific comments made before.

Thanks to Stephan I got to know about the other WordPress website and found there the paper of the proposal submission. Interesting for me to guess who is behind the collaborators 1-30!

The website here should include a section for new members with all the info – which I never got despite of being on so many calls with you during the last 4 months.

Thanks to Stephan to point out that the links don’t work. I also would like to insert other links to other websites, as the above named is just my private blog, not what I am really up to.

I would also like to know how I could create inside the website – as you said it would be possible for us. I cannot discover any way for me to set up anything which requires me to be admitted to the dashboard – which I am obviously am not.

Stephan, I feel completely overwhelmed with what you are writing. I am sorry, but I really cannot understand most of it and it makes me sort of anxious, because it reinforces my apprehension that I should do and know everything myself. But I am really not a tech-interested person and having to do already so many things myself doesn’t make me happy, but it is a burden for me.

I don’t understand all the reasonings in the tech-world, it is not my language, I can only guess what it is about.

You name Wikipedia as an example It might be good for what you say. I find myself sometimes very doubtful about that platform, because I got to know how much it censors the entries which people make. Some important people are banned, not named and attempts to insert them fail continuously, especially when it comes to those people whose ideas and work contradicts mainstream convictions. I still use it, but I read it with much caution, knowing that the platform is not as open as it promises to be – at least for its content.

The factor “human” is everywhere and hardly ever sufficiently acknowledged and taken into consideration.

I wish you a good week!

Misunderstandings: YES. I have difficulty, often, to understand some people who speak a difficult accent and not much articulated + bad audio quality. Often I also cannot really follow the thread they are weaving during their shares – but that can be with my shares as well, when heard by others. Difficult sometimes to speak clearly while still trying to figure out what we want to say.

Thanks for the long explanation above: At first sight, I cannot really get it, as well. What is your suggestion how things can go differently? How can we avoid to have to trust certain people or companies? How could we possibly do everything on our own and control everything?

As for finding alignment: I think that is what is evolving in those groups: trying to figure out what our contribution can be and how we can collaborate despite the fact that we have – inevitably – different ideas and viewpoints.

If I understand it right you are looking for systems who would do all things for us. Well, yes, but then you have to trust them and those who have created them, even if there are many people who were the authors. And there is always the factor “HUMAN”, the interiors of what can be managed with a system, and that is not a predictable system itself, but, as we are humans, to some degree unpredictable and spontaneous and subject to unexpected change and novelty.

I might have not understood fully what your vision is…

I just finished writing the timestamps of a conversation I did with a woman from Australia where we discussed Integral and how it helps to see the world, her workshop in the Integral Conference in Hungary and what the difference is between America and Australia. We will do another one soon about the differenc with germany.

Heere the link in case you want to watch it. It is not yet published, but you can watch it anyways. I will embed it in a blogpost soon.

    Hallo Stephan,

Although we could talk in German let’s continue in English here in case others are interested in reading what we write.

Well, I understand that you would prefer not to use Zoom because of your convictions. But don’t you miss out something then? We others are not able to write our own software or collaborate in open source and we need others to provide that for us. And for me it is ok that people get some money for what they are providing. I used zoom for free for many years and Google Hangouts which, unfortunately are not really good anymore. Despite of that I still use them for my shows as I have not yet figured out how to use OBS to transport zoom meetings live to Youtube – on a Mac.

All these things are not simple at all for me. I am creating my websites on WordPress out of pure necessity. I had to spent an absurd amount of time, years, to learn to do all the tech stuff, but I would prefer it were easier because that is really not what I want to spend my time with, but I have to, unfortunately. So I am not a tech freak although all the tech I am using I have to do myself…

So, if we want to meet online on video, what would work for you? We could do it in German, and also record, if you like, as part of the Wisdom Factory, where you can talk about these things you are writing about.

    Let me know

Hi Stephan – This sounds so much nicer than “skreutzer” (German name!)

Thanks for your reply. For what you write it really seems that you are living more on an integral level. There are many integralists in the world who don’t know it. I believe, knowing the integral roadmap allows them to see even more clearly their own place in the world.
I would encourage you to look more into integral theory, but reading Wilber’s books might be too time consuming. There are people who might give you a quicker overview, like Jeff Salzman and his DAILY EVOLVER, where he tries to see the world’s events in an integral lens. It doesn’t mean that he is “right”, I sometimes don’t agree. We all have different psychological and cultural backgrounds which colour our interpretations. But that is totally ok.

Yes, Integral Theory is not just a theory, like all others, It aims to connect all the existing theories and find the common denominator and extracts “the best” of them, or better shedding light on what is useful and what better not to get on with. As I said, it is a Meta-Theory, not a theory itself, not an opinion on anything, but a synthesis. And that makes it so fascinating, because you begin to see connections which you didn’t notice before. And it re-introduces areas of life which had been kicked out of the picture for one reason or other and led to an incomplete picture – when used as roadmap will lead without doubt to an incomplete result, or worse.

I met Wilber more than 20 years ago through “Grace and Grit”, a book about the life with his wife who died of cancer. Very little theory there, but it gave me the kick to want to know more. With “Up from Eden” I got totally hooked because I found so many explanations for questions I was wondering about. In the meantime Wilber has developed his presentations of his theory and included more useful tools to get a better understanding, like the introduction of levels of development with colors (instead of strange names), lines of development, multiple intelligences, Typology, Spirituality, Shadow work etc., all things which are needed to see the bigger picture and to grow up as human beings and societies – unfortunately widely ignored.

If you like we can talk about all that in Zoom. Let me know what timezone you are in and when you would be available for a 1:1 (I am in Italy)

    Hi (what is your name?)

Integralism (if you can speak of “ism” which I don not like much) is in the way you see the world and act accordingly. Integral Theory is a meta-theory which has a look with a birds eye on what is existing in the world and destills a map from that.

The basics are, in a nutshell:
    1. reality is arising in 4 different perspectives at the same time, the internal of an individual, the interior of a group, the exterior (like a scintific look on something from outside, the “facts” and the exterior from the colective perspective (like systems theory)

    2. Humans and societies grow through well defined stages through personal or historic evolution. These stages define how we think and feel about life, the world, etc and what values we have.

    3. Spirituality isn’t enough to become “enlightened. We also need the personal growth part and the elaboration and integration of our shadows, individually and collectively.

When you have understood well these principles – which really takes some time, at least it took ME quite some time), then you begin to understand why the world is as it is. You also begin to appreciate the specific gifts which all people at their stage can give to the world – instead of dismissing everything which doesn’t fit into your way of thinking and believing. Not an easy task, but absolutely necessary to create peace in the world, because, unfortunately, not everybody thinks, feels and believes as we ourselves do. And that, always, has caused trouble and wars.

I hope I could give you an impression of the huge value of the integral roadmap.

I am glad that you are using integral theory for your thinking. When I first met Ken Wilber’s books and also Don Beck about 20 years ago, or more, I felt I was sort of alone in the world to see things, now, that way which made immediately more sense to me. In time I met more and more people – and I deliberately went to the places where they meet. Thank God we now have internet and video conversations!

Although I am not “on topic” in this threat: I don’t really care what a “topic” is, as long as we/ I have one which is interesting enough to talk about.

I probably haven’t had a burn out yet, but sometimes I think I am near. I certainly feel a lot of tension in my head and shoulders, tiredness, unwillingness to exercise and difficulty with entering in meditation. If this is burn-out? Well, what I do: I negotiate with myself about doing what needs to be done, about relaxation and exercise, I have quite a bit of discipline and try to bring it over to the things I know I should do for myself.

My mind likes to work, anyways and I presently enjoy to “empty” it by writing down what I am thinking about in my blog http://www.the-wisdom-factory.com
