I probably haven’t had a burn out yet, but sometimes I think I am near. I certainly feel a lot of tension in my head and shoulders, tiredness, unwillingness to exercise and difficulty with entering in meditation. If this is burn-out? Well, what I do: I negotiate with myself about doing what needs to be done, about relaxation and exercise, I have quite a bit of discipline and try to bring it over to the things I know I should do for myself.
My mind likes to work, anyways and I presently enjoy to “empty” it by writing down what I am thinking about in my blog http://www.the-wisdom-factory.com
